Q: If a Railroad offers me cash advances or light duty, should I accept it?

A: There is no answer that applies to everyone. Sometimes we recommend that you do it, other times it would be a great mistake. Remember that the railroad does not do anything for its injured employees out of the goodness of its heart - it does so because it thinks it can save money on your claim.
