ATV ride in cornfield proves deadly.

A teenager in Pennsylvania obtained permission to ride his three wheel all terrain vehicle in a neighbor's cornfield. When it got dark and he did not come home for supper, his father went looking for him and found him dead crushed by the ATV. The case was successfully settled.

Man injured while pushing disabled car.

One night a car stalled on Rt. 208 in Spotsylvania. The owner of the car got out of the car and began to push the car out of the road. While he pushing the car, a young driver came speeding up behind the disabled car and hit the man pushing the car. The case settled during the trial of the case.

While attending a seminar at the Wyngate Inn in Stafford County, plaintiff slips and falls on water an employee left when mopping the floor. The plaintiff suffered a soft tissue injury to her hip. A verdict of $47,500 was returned for the plaintiff.

Slip on peanut shells results in a settlement

Plaintiff slips and falls on peanut shells which had been thrown of the floor of a local restaurant. Plaintiff filed suit for $300,000 in the Circuit Court of Spotsylvania. The defendant restaurant removed the case to Federal Court in Richmond. The case settle for a confidential sum.

Rear end collision occurs when the Jeep pulled over to a just its load

In this rearend collision case, the plaintiff was hauling a mattress on top of his Jeep Cherokee. He was concerned that the load was shifting and began to pull over on the side of the road. As he slowed down the car immediately behind him slowed down but the car behind that car did not slow down. The third car crashed into the rear of the second car and not the second car into the plaintiff’s Jeep. As a result, the plaintiff suffered a whiplash injury to his neck and back. The case was continued because one of the witnesses was transferred by the military to Iraq. On return of the witness to the United States, the case settled.

A Stafford teenager lost control of his three wheel all terrain vehicle while riding in the woods. The ATV hit a tree resulting in the teenager to lose the use of one side of his body. The case was successfully settled.
