According to Fredericksburg.com, an Orange County toddler died from a
Virginia pit bull attack on September 28th. The family pit bull mauled the small girl, who was pronounced dead at University of Virginia Medical Center.
The girl had left her home and wandered into the area where the dog was chained when she was
attacked by the pit bull. The mother of the girl told deputies that she had been preoccupied and went to find the girl when she noticed that she was not inside the home.
The parents of the girl have been uncooperative, according to police, and investigators are still trying to piece together the full details of what happened the day of the attack.
