The American Trial Lawyers Association has selected John Harris for inclusion in the 2008-2009 Top 100 Trial Lawyers for the State of Virginia. A maximum of 100 attorneys from Virginia are considered for membership in the Association. Membership into The American Trial Lawyers Association is by invitation and is extended only to those attorneys who exemplify superior qualifications, trial results, leadership, influence, reputation, statue, and profile in the trial attorney community as viewed by the Association, other trial lawyers, members of the bench, and the public at large.

Fatal Accident

Fredericksburg - A Fredericksburg man remains hospitalized after being hit by a tractor-trailer when he stumbled onto Interstate 95 following a car accident.  At tractor-trailer severely injured a Fredericksburg man when he stumbled into I-95.  He was transported to   Inova Fairfax Hospital for injuries suffered.  He later died from the injuries he suffered in the tractor-trailer accident.  Witnesses told police that the Fredericksburg man crashed his car into a tree on the side of I-95 near mile marker 130 then stumbled into southbound traffic. He was struck by the tractor-trailer in the center lane.
